Funeral services for Robert “Rob” Bordelon, II will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Saint Alphonse Catholic Church, Hessmer with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Arrangements are held under the direction of  Kilpatrick's Rose - Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.

Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m on Thursday with mass and burial following.

Robert “Rob” Bordelon, II, age 36 of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on January 9, 2010 at his residence.

Robert lived for his son and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Conner Bordelon fund at Union Bank of Marksville.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Irby J. Bordelon; and his uncle, E.J. Brouillette.

He is survived by his son, Conner; and his former wife, Jennifer Bordelon of Covington; his parents, Robert “Bob” and Sandra Brouillette Bordelon of Marksville; this three sisters, Dawn Bordelon Moreau (Ron) of Prairieville; Krissy Bordelon Juneau (Brady), Keri Bordelon Bonnette (Thomas), all of Marksville.

He is also survived by three nieces and four nephews, Brielle, Julian, Cade, Jayce, Jonah, Olivia and Jon Riley; paternal grandparents are Stanley and Ella Mae Ducote Bordelon; maternal grandparents are Gloria Laborde Brouillette of Marksville and Eugene and Janet Brouillette of Pierre Part.
