Services: Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Gene Milam will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Echo with Father Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Interment will be in St. Francis DeSales Catholic Cemetery in Echo. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Visitation: Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service on Wednesday. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mr. Milam, age 63, of Marksville, passed away at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria on Monday, January 25, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Franks Milam of Marksville, 1 son, Eric Milam & wife Beth of Carencro, 1 daughter, Kayla Couvillion & husband, D. J. of Moreauville, sister, Marilyn Rafferty of Tioga, LA, 2 half-brothers, Jimmy Milam and Robert Milam, both of Tennessee, Richard Milam of Florida, , 2 half-sisters, Carolyn Summers of Tennessee, Mary Wagner of Virginia and 4 grandchildren.
