To many observers the sentence Brandel Moore got last time on money laundering and other charges was lenient.
Now the 25-year-old Crowley man is facing similar charges seven months later.
Moore was booked into the Acadia Parish jail March 10 on charges of money laundering in the amount of $3,000 or less, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaiine and possession with intent to distribute codeine. His bond was set at $90,000 and a parole violation hold placed on him.
He was arrested during a SWAT search at 410 Jacobs.
Last August, he agreed to plead guilty in exchange for a sentence of not more than five years and the state agreed to drop two of three charges against him.
The charges were possession of cocaine, two counts, and money laundering.
Moore received an 18-month sentence with credit for time served.
