Local acts headline Cochon de Lait festival this weekend

Acts with local ties will perform during the annual Cochon de Lait festival to be held this weekend, May 6-9 in Mansura.

Iridium, composed of a group of young men from the Cottonport area, will perform on the Louisiana Lottery main stage on Friday, May 7 at 7 p.m. The group will be followed by Wayne Toups and Zydecajun at 9 p.m.

On Saturday, May 8, the Paul and Pete Band (Pete Jeansonne) will entertain festival goers beginning at 11 a.m. on the Louisiana Lottery main stage. Jim Hogg will perform at 7 p.m. Country star David St. Romain will perform on the Louisiana Lottery stage at 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 8. St. Romain’s parents are natives of Avoyelles Parish.

Geno Delafose and French Rockin’ Boogie Band will perform on the CenturyLink stage at 8 p.m.
