Funeral Services for Mrs. IZ Marie Bordelon will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum in Fifth Ward

Visitation: Visitation will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 5:00 pm until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:00 am until time of services. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 pm on Saturday

Mrs. Bordelon age 94 of Fifth Ward passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at The Grace Home of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilkie and Edna Brouillette, Husband, Shafter Bordelon, grandson, Toby Bordelon, brother, Herman Brouillette, and sister, Ruth Bordelon. She was a homemaker, and belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was also a long time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Alter Society.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Bordelon and wife Bobbie of Fifth Ward, Nathan Bordelon and wife Sue of Fifth Ward, one brother, Eugene Brouillette and wife Janet of Pierre Part, LA., two sisters, Sadie Dupuy of Hickory Hill, and Ina Bringol of Arkansas, and one loving sister-in-law, Dorothy Bordelon Chatelain of Marksville, 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren
