Aimee Kathryn Couvillion and Samuel Bates Hayes were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville. Father Charles Morgan officiated at the ceremony.

Aimee is the daughter of Stephen and Carol Couvillion of Plaucheville. Sam is the son of Donnie and Angela Hayes of Alexandria.

The bride wore a halter gown with a trumpet silhouette and a semi cathedral length train designed especially for her by Casablanca. The gown featured beaded Alencon lace appliqués hand sewn onto point d’esprit and a ruched sweetheart bust line. It was complimented by a lace trimmed cathedral length veil.

Aimee was attended by her maid of honor, Nikki Voinche, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ginger Couvillion and Johanna Couvillion, sisters-in-law of the bride, Kate Hayes, sister of the groom, Julianna Mobile and Kayla Laborde, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Gwendolyn and Isabella Couvillion, nieces of the bride.

Rusty Forest, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Steve, Jeremy, and Matthew Couvillion, brothers of the bride, Kris Beall and Zackory Distefano, friends of the groom. Ushers were Jaryd Kojis and Anthony Winget, friends of the groom.

Music was provided for the ceremony by organist Theresa Thevenote and vocalist Katie Hebert, both close friends of the bride. Trumpeter was Jimmy Armand.

After a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple will make their home in Plauchville.
