Sheriff Doug Anderson said that Mary C. Parrish of the Gold Dust Community south of Bunkie was last seen when she left her home in her car around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
She was reported missing by a family member after failing to report to work Saturday night.
Parrish is 53 years old, 5-foot-5 and weighs about 200 pounds. She has dark hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.
The car she was driving Saturday was a silver 2007 Saturn Vue with Louisiana license plate No. SFR784.
