Funeral services for Mrs. Zola Brouillette Franks will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010 with Father Abraham Varghese officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery #1 in Marksville. Arrangements are being handled by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before time of service. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mrs. Franks, age 97, of Hickory Hill passed away at Hessmer Nursing Home in Hessmer on Thursday, July 29, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph W. Brouillette, second husband, Walter W. Franks, daughter, Joetta Brouillette, son, Aliver Brouillette, sisters, Fredna Brouillette, Francis Barbin, and grandchild, Tami Brouillette.

She is survived by 2 sons, J. N. “Nap� Brouillette & Wife Shirley of Alexandria, Errol Ray Brouillette & Wife Jody of Lafayette, 1 daughter, Joyce Hines & Husband W. C. of Hickory Hill, 1 sister, Linster Hayes of Hickory Hill, 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
