Patsy Lambert, 83, Hessmer

Graveside services for Mrs. Patsy Lambert will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mrs. Lambert, age 83, of Hessmer, LA. passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Amet Lambert, Jr.; son, Don Lambert; parents, Albert and Corrine Guillot Lacombe; brothers, Richard Lacombe, Bay Boy Lacombe, Alvin “A.J.” Lacombe, Gene Mike Lacombe; sisters, Eunice “Dottie” Barrilleaux, Shirley Lachney, Linda Lacombe, JoAnn Villemarette and Joyce Lacombe; and son in law, Bobby Gaspard.

Patsy was always so giving and loved when the grandkids would visit, so she could spoil them with juice and snacks. Growing up she always made us the best homemade fries. She loved music and dancing. She enjoyed going to the casino with friends to listen to bands play and watch people dance. She loved sweets. Any kind of sweets. She loved a lot of things, but most importantly, she loved her family. Patsy had the greenest thumb and could grow literally anything. She always had the most beautiful flowers and plants. Patsy enjoyed passing a good time playing Pokeno with her lady friends. For many years Patsy worked for Garan’s Manufacturing Corp as a seamstress. In her past time, she enjoyed making divinity candy for her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tim Lambert (Fran) of Hessmer, Jim Lambert (Terry) of Hessmer and Dale Lambert of Hessmer; daughter, Dena Gaspard of Hessmer; brother, Arthur “Nat” Lacombe of Mandeville, Louisiana; sister, Pamela M. Roussel (Norman) of Abita Springs, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
